Marder 2 progress pics and question
Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, December 5, 2004 8:33 PM
Here's my Marder 2 I'm working on for the Old Guns GB..... It's an out of production Tamiya Kit I got on ebay..... a few of the parts were warped (notice the grey recoil mechanism i had to "borrow" from my tamiya Pak40..... Well, the build was a little bit of a headache and at this stage, It looks a little funny to me. But I've looked at a few pictures and it seems to be fairly accurate..... please look and see if I'm missing anything.... the last picture is a little blurry, sorry.

the upper and lower hulls haven't been glue together yet.

thanx for looking.

It all depends on how much time, labor and clams you want to invest in detail. The Eduard PE set alone would keep you busy for a while, if that's what you want to do. Propeller [8-]

nope, this is OOB...... but thanks.... I was just making sure what I've done is accurate.... The pics I've looked at of Marder 2's seem to coincide, but I wanted to run it by the "pros"

I remember when I built mine. Are you going to do the spotted cammo in Olivegrun?

tiger, i'm not sure if i am.... i want to use tediam's gunmetal chipped paint technique on it, so I may just leave it dunkelgelb..... (if i ever can get back to it)
