Knocked Out Pics
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, December 6, 2004 4:32 PM
Does anyone have or know where I can find some good pics of knocked out WWII tanks? I am thinking about my next project and wanted to get some ideas flowing first. Any help is appreciated, Thanks.

searching history books is always a good idea, but a long one, and boring....
there was a website on a post not to long ago about....what was it, but it had an awesome link to a german website with tons of photos of just about everything german from world war 2. There was knocked out stuff on there.

Here is a link to some good pictures of wrecked vehicles. It doesn't have a lot of stuff, but the site does have a lot of links.

There is another site that is good for knocked out vehicles, I don't know the exact address, but I think it has "panzerwrecks" in the url addy. HTH.

I have "Last of the Panzers", Tanks Illustrated #9, by William Auerbach. Paperback book has some great photos of knocked out German armor.
