Thanks guys. I am just hoping that I can get the figures to blend in with the crew as I will be "frankensteining" the crew from different sets of figures.Big Smile [:D]

I like the ambush dio. I was wondering if you thought about applying some foliage along the barrel and a little on the shields to help blend it more. J

Actually it is already in the works...Wink [;)]

I like the ambush dio. I was wondering if you thought about applying some foliage along the barrel and a little on the shields to help blend it more. Just an idea, I don't know if that would apply to the Hornisse, but my guess is it would. Someday I'd like to try it myself.

BTW, glad to hear your okay over there. Smile [:)]

Hello.
Great model , you must be a " Tanker" at heart . Your model , is in what us "tankers" call , a " Hull Down" ,( I.E. partially cancealling the vehicle ( the hull),behind a berm , or ridge) , and using the surrounding vegetation to breakup its outline. Keep up the great work , and thanks for sharing with us!

Looks great Dwight. Hope the terrible weather there is not impacting you or your family. My sister-in-law is headed over there as we speak to be with her family for the holidays.

Looking great, Dwight. How did you make the trees? Was that the way you posted a while back? Very realistic dio

Well some really bad weather last week and a two-day out of town assignment kept me away from the workbench for 5 days. Although I have started on the base for the hornisse, I was not really able to do much work. I am still adding some stowage, antenna and tarp as well as working on the figures. I am also trying to incorporate some changes as suggested in the other thread.

Sorry. It's been raining hard lately and I cannot get well-lighted pics outside.

Comments are welcome.Wink [;)]

I will keep you posted. Smile [:)]
