                        Nice work you've done, don't worry about the shine on figs, maybe the flash of you're camera is accentuating that more than what you see for real.
                        Corky look of the wall, I find more "eyecatching" ; putting putty on it is one solution, but you can also give it a layer of "plaster of Paris" and brake some pieces from that layer to simulate chunks of the real plasterwork that crumbled off.

                        thanks everyone for the input..... someone offered me $75 for it this morning at work, but I don't know if I want to part with it; or at least not till i "unshine" it and plaster the walls a little better.........

                        subfixer..... you gave me an idea to maybe lay a couple German Propaganda posters by the guy's feet..... decisions, decisions

                        Looks like you did a great job there. Well, think the figures shine a little bit but they do look fine. Is that corkboard that you used for the walls? My suggestion (if you will allow me) is that you can rub some putty on some areas to make it look as cement plaster. It will "break" the cork board look.

                        Overall great diorama.

                        Well, I built this 8 months ago and its been sitting at the LHS until now.... I can't keep a lot of built stuff here because of my kids and their cats.... So I keep some stuff at work and some at the LHS..... The figs probably could use more work, but this was my 2nd major build since getting back into the hobby.....

                        Notice the 2 Verlinden "things to do" Germans in the battledress.... saw them in the catalogue, had to get them.... Sorry if a pic or two is blurry..... Comments welcome, that's how I learn. Wink [;)]
