Tamiya's Sd.Kfz.222
Posted by Sniper Zed on Wednesday, December 8, 2004 8:59 PM
Hello!
I have purchased Tamiyas Sd.Kfz.222 armored car a while ago and haven't been able to get my hands on it yet. What I was wondering is if any body who built it could tell me how the kit goes together and any snags that I should watch out for Wink [;)] ?

I built the old one before it was updated with an aluminum barrel and whatnot. I don't recall any problems back then. Nice sig by the way Sniper Zed and welcome to the Dark Side. Big Smile [:D]

Great little build. Nothing terribly wrong with it and it is a nice project. You should have fun with it. There are some minute inaccuracies but only a rivet counter would find it and they are easy to fix if you want to go to that detail.

Hey Sniper,

Tigerman was simply referring to an ongoing joke between armor modelers and aircraft modelers here on the FSM forum. The Darkside was something coined either by a/c guys or by tread heads to refer to armor modelers.
