The Italeri USMC M4 Sherman tries to be an M4A2 but is a decent M4A3. It includes PTO markings. Tamiya's old M4A3 had the wolf's head markings used by an Army unit in the Pacific. DML's M4A3 HVSS-POA-CWS-H5 is a Pacific tank (POA=Pacific Ocean Area).

Yes- this one http://www.squadron.com/ItemDetails.asp?item=TM35250

It has a bunch of gear, and 3 infantry in winter gear (which comes in real handy in the Phillipines). It has decals for the Bulge and the Wolf's Head from the Phillipins 1945. Not a bad kit, but the area above the treads are open into the hull, so using some plastic card closes it up. I think Academy just re-released a Pacific Sherman similiar to the Italeri offering. Can't comment on quality. Saw it on PMMS's site

I don't have a problem with it. Not like we'd be wearing the same dress to a party or anything

Unless I'm mistaken, I thought Dragon or Academy was releasing a new Pacific Sherman. As usual, my mind might be playing tricks on me. Wink [;)]

The Academy one I saw could have been new. I will have to look it up. Dragon just released the Russian Sherman, so maybe they have more new varients?

Both Academy and DML released a Soviet lend-lease M4A2 76mm Sherman. It is safe to assume that with a 75mm turret, a USMC Pacific Sherman is most likely the next release.

Also forgot to mention the Chinese M4A4 that DML does. This was used against the Japanese on the Asian mainland.

an add on page 7 of the latest edition of FSM shows an Academy M4A2 US Marines. Judging from the art it has the snorkle gear, which would be very cool ndeed. Under price it says, "$TBA." So I guess it's not released yet.

I want to do a flame tank spraying the napalm. I was thinking of using a thin clear acrylic rod coming from the guntube to represent the liquid stream. Then add something to the edges to represent the flame/smoke. Something with the consistancy of shaving cream maybe . Any better sugestions?
