This is gonna seem kinda funny, but my loving wife bought me the tamiya dragon wagon for christmas, I was wondering if there was anything I need to know about this kit before I start it. Also, I would like to put something unusual on the trailer, does anyone have any sugestions??? Also did the marines ever use these?? How late were they in service also???
any help would be apreciated, thanks again.

Make sure you clear your calendar for about a month! lol jk It is a great build. Give her a big kiss and a huge thank you. That kit is getting hard to find in my area.

Hi Jim,
That`s one heckuva gift, your gonna have fun with this one. So you`ll want to take yer time with this puppy, organization is the key when it comes to the cab.The undercarriage went together easily, fitting the cab onto the interior was the only problem I encountered
and the back deck slowed me down in the build.Detailing and adding extra gear was fun.So yeah, your gonna have fun with this one. I also wanted to do something different with mine so chose a contraversial subject to load,a SuperPershing.

Hope this helps and have fun.Look forward to seeing yours completed.

Only thing I found with the kit that I did not like was thereis injecter marks on the window panels and in the inside of engine compartment in front of radiator here is a few picsof mine

as far as unusual goes I have seen guys put landing craft and even an other M26 on back, for mine I put on a firefly these beast were known to well exceed capabilities I picked up the book axis and allies covering the DW and FAMO.

As far as service time goes 1942 - 1944. it got a face lift to a unarmored cab in 1944 and remained untill 1956 along with the trailer being up graded to the M15A2. hope that little bit helpsSmile [:)]

hey all,
I think I like the stug or panther idea, blacking out the markings and putting a star on one would be even better (I dont know did they do the same with armour as they did with captured aircraft???). My loving wife got two kisses for this one....the fist for feeding my adiction , and the second for this kit she is a very good woman Big Smile [:D]

thanks fur the pics....ill be back with more irritating anoying questions after christmas

As for me,my wife want to buy that for me too.I would not let her instead I got 5 kits for Christmas. As for putting some thing on the back of that drop deck, may I suggest that you might want to do one of these three ideals.1scrach build a toy Tonka and have it strapped down or 2 srcach build Santa's sled and put it on the drop deck or 3 last but not least, make it transporting a Christmas tree that is cut and ready to go.Digger
Oh I just thought of one more and that is,make a U.S.O plattfrom on the back with Bob Hope and three women on it.
