Trying to get realistic Tiger cable tie downs.

I'm testing out tack welds on the tie downs...

Here's the cable tie down bare with the PE installed:


Sprayed with panzer grey so I could see the trouble spots:


The weld spots added with putty:



And finally basecoated in Dunkelgelb:



The closeups show flaws not visible with the naked eye, I'll tighten them up when I do the rest of the deck (I'll be building this thing forvever), paint and weather the whole shebang.
