First look, DML HORNISSE

Ok, i've just picked up this kit today and thought you all would like a first glance review. I've built a number of DML stuff over the years and i like their subjeck matter, if not always their execution. Upon opening the box it looked good. There are some faults evident.
First the track links. I was hoping for great links from the 10th annaversity set, sorry no luck. They all have injector pin marks, some quite deep. Plan on aftermarket tracks if you want them to look good.
Next is the brass projectiles included. They are very nice but there is only 2 of them.
Now the big problem that i can see. There are injector pin marks all over the inside of the fighting compartment. I gave up counting after 61, yes i said 61. They are not deep but it will be time consuming to fill them all in. Some may be covered by other parts but the rear doors have 4 prominint ones each.
The instruction sheet is the new photo variety and very nice. And the photos of painted models are some of the nicest i've ever seen. Good refrence for the interior colors.
All the exterior parts look great with no flaws evident so the vast majoritory of the work will be on the inside. Also if you look closely at the photos in the instruction book you can see the pin marks all thru the fighting compartment.
Well that's it for now. I'm sure with some tender loving care this will turn into a great model. I just thought that you all would like an unbiased opinion early on.
