Tamiya's T-62A
Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, January 12, 2003 2:08 AM
Hello to All,

I am a new member to this recommended forum.

I would like to have opinions on what to buy for my (2) T-62A Tamiya kits, still in their boxes.
For both, I already have the starfish wheels and 2 different turrets and barrels, from CMD.
What individual track links (maker and item #) would be recommended for them? Do they fit the kits, or need something else like sprockets, etc...
My problem is that the adds, in general, don't show for what kits the tracks are made for, and they are quite expensive to be wrongly ordered.
I already have a third Tamiya T-62 built right from the box, except for the ARMOUR TK-05 tracks. They are fine, but fragile, and I would like to try new ones on the new kits.
I have experimented with Friul on other kits I have, but not the Modelkasten workable tracks.
So, I have to base myself on real experience.
What else would you recommend to be added to the T-62's?

I do not care for dioramas, figures and interiors.

On the subject, I was recommended about an article from FSM (July '94 issue):
Building an Iraqi T-62M in 1/35 scale, by Cookie Sewell.

Is there someone around that would be willing to scan it for me?

Any help is welcome
Cheers,
Flores
