                        I am considering getting trumpeter's K1A1 kit.
                        Has anyone built this kit?
                        I have seen a resin update for this kit that is almost a complete kit.
                        Is the quality really that bad that it needs that much resin?
                        I would like to model this next to a M1A1 to compare differences and simularities.
                        Can anyone give input on this kit?

                        Why not just buy the resin update then?

                        Sorry, couldn't resist.

                        Seriously, though, why not? Trumpeter kits are so cheap. Look at the resin upgrade as the kit and the Trumpeter kit as supplying some additional details like the wheels and hull floor. :)

                        Good come back.

                        The resin up grade is about $50.00 and the kit is only about $25.00 or $30.00.
                        I don't mind buying a kit and spending some money on PE parts and resin.
                        Cleaning up all that resin would take forever and a day.
                        Well lets face it,hidding a purchase like that from the wife would be harder than its worth.
