DML Stug III Kit

I am working on this kit myself. It is a very nice kit and well detailed. My only warnings are be careful with track skirt mounting brackets when you remove them from the sprue, they are quite fragile. Also watch the return wheels, they aren't supported by much and have to be thoroughly dry before you can begin handling the kit. Other than that I didn't find any really noticeable flaws with the kit, but I'm pretty new at this and don't have that great of an eye yet.

Thanks fo rthe note. I am impressed with the deatil of this kit. But it even has undercarriage details. No motor holes to fill in like on the Tamiya kts.

I've always been a hardcore Tamiya fan but I can see DML getting some shelf space.

I was real impressed with the kit when I cracked the box open as well. I've just about got it done. I had to do a little back tracking though, my cat jumped on it and busted off the return wheels, most of the track and one of the track skirts, so I've got some repairing to do. I just have to get the heart back up to finish the kit.

You'll run into those motor holes on just about any of the older kits from Tamiya and even on some other manufacturers.

The newer Stug III from Tamiya does not have any motor holes in the chasis. As for the DML Stug III, I have to agree, it is very welll made, but on the fragile side with some parts. Personally there is no better place for Panzer III casis armor then with DML.
