A friend of mine picked up the Trumpeter one with the add-on armor to upgrade his Tamiya kit. I believe his words were "crude" and "rough" when describing the Trumpeter kit. Lead me to believe that the kit was a waste of money quality-wise, but at least the armor bits gave him dimensions of what to scratchbuild.
