Korean War M26A1 without monster face?

There would probably be a lot mof M26s withou the faces, as, according to FSM, they wre only implimented for Operation Ripper, and some crews decided to leave them on. Because the faces didn't really work, and because they pretty much destroyed any camoflage properties on the vehicle, they were removed after said operation.

Squadron lists two titles ,Armor in korea,a pictorial history and Pershing/Patton in action.There is also a Concord title,Tank Battles of The Korean War by I believe Steve Zaloga.There are plenty of tanks in these without faces.Hope this helps.l

There is another series of books called Tanks Illustrated and they have one book called Tank War Korea by Simon Dunstan, the book is No. 14, the only problem is that it is in black and white bud is a very good book. Also check in the libraries of your city, I found alot of things related to armor in the ones from my city.

If I find something else I'll let you Know because I'm building a M-41 Walker Bulldog from that era and I like their tanks!!!
