Glueing vinyl tracks

Super Glue or a good CA should hold it, if you use the pins as well as a kind of "backbone" to the links.

Demono's suggestion of CA glue should do the trick just fine. I'm not familiar with these particular tracks, but they do sound a little tough.

Wow individually linked vinyl tracks. Like Rob said, I am not familiar with those types of tracks, but as teh above said CA glue will hold them.

I also am not familiar with those tracks but I must agree with those above.
Super glue,zap a gap,loctite 401,are all good ca glues to use.
I also would reccomend that you find some ca debonder if you are going to be using it on such small items.

You should be able to find it at any good hobby shops.
It comes in handy when using ca glues and keeps you from getting stuck to your work.

Test it out on a small piece first because it is kinda harsh and could kill your plastic if your not careful.

Stapple both ends together. The use superglue to fix them properly to the wheels (although there's not much to be seen on that model... How is it, anyway? Where did you find reference on the beast(s)?

Stapling will not work with this track. I tried to assemble the tracks with two different kits. Staples will work with this kit better than the kit-supplied pins. Someone suggested it since they built it in this manner.

Get a bunch of unused staples and break them into separate pieces. Flatten one leg of each staple so you have an "L" shaped pin. Use this instead of the kit pins.

I built the tracks in runs of about 10. Any more and the slightest handling would cause the track to break apart. There is an article in the Jerry Scutts Osprey Modelling Manual about accurizing this kit.

Hello then. I guess my last name is just so common that people think there are more than one of me!

Thanks-a-million to all...I'll try the CA first. If that doesn't work then I'll try using staples. There isn't a lot of info out there on the A7V, so some of the details have to be taken for granted that they are close to correct. I purchased mine through Squadron mail-order if anyone is interested. The kit falls far below the new standard of todays models but it is a welcome change from WWII Panzer-mania. Again, thank you all for the help.

Super glu is the best for that. Put one or two drops, hold the two parts with wood pins and let them dry overnight. It works !!!
