Thanks Smith M, juniormodeler, & Erock68

juniormodeler - to make this mud I used a mixture of squadron white putty, white glue, Tamiya flat brown acrylic, Woodland Scenics railway ballast, and horse hair for organics. Mixed into one big mess and then placed on the model. Further weathering with dry brushing and pastels.

Wholy **** that looks good! Its got excelent detail, and its definately not something that you see every day! I only wish I had the time, patience, and skills to produce a kit of that quality.

Just to clarify Mike, the M32 B3 does have some PE on it and the M4 Dozer has both PE and AM involved in the build. But they have some scratchbuilding involved to get them to this final stage.

These look awsome Robert. Help us Obi Wan, you're our only hope.....The force is strong in this one.
Shermans never look this good when Panzers open 'em up to see whats in side. All that beautiful work and just think you didn't have to hawk the house for aftermarket and p/e. A testament to the model builders skill and craft. Now we will have to wait for the Staghound?

Thanks guys for your kind words.

Eric to answer your question about a dio or groundwork .... neither ... this is the finished project. I rarely (very rarely) go the dio route as I like to just concentrate the focus of the viewer on the armoured vehicle.

Rob just an amazing job. The finished product looks fantastic. I love the weathering, and the mud and dirt on the plow looks great. I love the use of the pastels. The more I see yoru work, the more I feel the need to use pastels. Just a tremendous job, and thank you for the pics.

Looks great Shermanfreak! I was just looking at your stages pictures on those yesterday and here you got them done already Big Smile [:D]

No criticisms coming from me, but one question. Are you going to do some groundwork and a diorama on them? It looks like that's your plan so I thought I'd ask.

Well sometimes it just takes me a while to finish a model (or two). These would certainly fall under that category.
