Great work jgeratic. Love the detail on the 1/72 scale Tiger I and King Tiger. No critism from me. Really like the piant scheme and weathering on the Matilda.

Very well done!!

Yeah, the Matilda looks awesome, absolutely, but the others are good looking too. Any more from where those came from???

Very nice. The camo on the Tiger II is great. I'm always impressed with what can be done in 1/72 and smaller.
How did you apply the camo, brush?
Trevor Where am I going and why am I in this handbasket?

Very impressive, very impressive. I like the overall effect. Wonderful weathering and detail, and the photos are well executed and presented.

I hope that this spurs others on to not only do some more work but also to post pics up on the forum. This is a visual hobby and is best appreciated by others.

Thanks jgeratic, you have guite the body of work there.

thanks a bunch guys......regarding camou on Tiger II, the dark yellow was airbrushed followed by handbrushing the olive green and primer red. The usual method of weathering (washes & drybrush) along with pencil crayons for rust and dirt streaks. To answer another question, I've built over 400 models but not all armour mind you, so yes I might have a few more decent ones to show sometime later.

I'm curious as how you got that weathering on the Matilda.

It looks like a dusting blotchy type look. Its very very good work. Did you use a white pastel on the paint to lighten it or ?

re: weathering on the Matilda ...... this was achieved strictly by dry brushing various shades of acrylic paint - I built this model something like 14 yrs ago so I'm trying to remember exactly how I did what - my main scrubbing brush was a size 9 round sable, but I cut the tip off so it was flat. Also used a smaller brush to create some of the darker vertical streaks - the final stages of dry brushing was done in the direction that dirt & grit would fall (if that makes any sense)
Hope this was of some help :)
