more than one at a time??
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, June 19, 2003 2:16 AM
I was just wondering if I am the only one that has more than one model going at a time?? Is this a normal occurrence for most of you? I hate all the clean up that comes with painting, so I tend to get a buildup of models that need painting and then paint them all at once. Am I the only one with this syndrome?? Currently working on 3 models.Big Smile [:D]

Saw that Tomcat on your workbench, Ron. What about a pic or two from a bit closer? I 'salvaged' the older Tamiya Tomcat from a friend, dismantled it, purchased books and new decals (to do the black bunny one) and that's been it. Boxed up and awaiting interest to come back since... 1997...

I have known many a modeler to have a few going at one time. As for me, right now I have 2 in the works. A Tamiya Tiger 1 and an M1A1 Abrams.

I'm waiting for my etched parts to be delivered, from Eduard for the Abrams, so I started the Tiger 1.

I am currently doing:

A Panzer III Ausf. L 98% done
A SturmMorser Tiger 45% done
and a Konigstiger Porsche Turret 40% done.

I never have more then 3 models going at one time. Once I have built one and primed another, I usually start a new one to pass the time.

Sometimes 2, sometimes 3, sometimes 12.

But never, never, never 1.
Happy Modelling and God Bless Robert

I currently have 10 unfinished, but am only seriously working on 2: the 1/35 Academy Tiger I Full Interior (Early Version) and the Trumpeter 1/32 A-10A N/AW. Even with 2, my hands are pretty full (as well as my desk space!)

I actually have anywhwere from five to seven going at the same time. right now, I am down to three that I'm finishing, and four have been completed already. Time to start four more! :-) That doesn't include the twelve kits I've brought down to refurbish that I'd built more than 25 years ago. So yeah, I keep busy. :-)
