Hey, that's just what I have! A good ol' PowerShot A70.
It is indeed a good camera!

Thank you for taking a look and for your comments, the model is slightly more yellow than the photo's but i agree; I think it is too dark.

To "NACHTFLIEGER the kit is "Tamiya" 1/35 OOB. The build is very good, no real problems.

Ken,
Would agree that the chipped effect is overdone, but other than that it's a great looking job. I'd go Thumbs Up [tup]Thumbs Up [tup]Thumbs Up [tup]

Really great build. The only thing I can say negatively is I would have used a more yellow paint, but DO NOT take this as derogative. You have built and outstanding model and weathered it superbly!

Nice job! Is that the Trumpeter kit? How did it go together?

Superb build Ken. The weathering is awesome. I'd think the Brits would take better care of their tanks myself. It does seem a little over the top on the peeling. Still, great looking build.

Nice Chally 2!
Great job with the peeling effects and tossed water bottles.
Great pix, too! What kind of camera are you using? The model looks very realistic in the natural lighting.

I,m not very interested in modern armour, however I saw a very well illustrated build of this tank in the Aug 04 issue of Tamiya Model Magazine.

The model was built by Marcus Nicholls and I have tried to copy his wonderfull build. It's OOB with some scratch building..
He explains in his build that British tanks suffered with paint "peel", I may have overdone that bit.
The credit for the build must go to him, the mistakes are mine[8)] ..Kenny
