DML's BMP-2
Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, June 22, 2003 6:40 PM
Just finished this kit. Overall build was good but there was some minor trouble with fit. The rear of the upper hull required sanding to fit and the turret was really a tight fit and the drive wheels had to be forced behind the shocks. Tracks were trouble, individual links didn't fit right (maybe it was my lack of skill) but I hid the misfits above the skirt.
Will post pics when the film is developed.

Perhaps I should break mine open, eh?

Can't wait to see some photos, Claymore.

Believe it or not, exterior-wise, the old Esci kit is superior to the DML BMPs. That rear hull area is a bear and I actually gave up on my DML BMP-2 and built the Esci one instead. I have since started on both an Esci and DML BMP-1. My skills are much better this time around.
