Believe it or not, Trumpter makes a fairly comprehensive line of PLA Chinese tanks. Some come motorized, others static, but all-in-all, they are quite decent kits. They do wheeled as well as tracked personnel carriers too.
One kit they do, a Chinese Jeep with recoilless rifle called the BJ212A, is a very nice kit. Easily in the early Tamiya quality range.
