Actually, I think these big kits are designed to be motorized, and even are supplied with motors for both driving and turret traverse. I would imagine that the Tamiya kits with all their high-tech doodads are the ultimate in realism though. And frankly, someone with a 1/15th scale Tamiya Pershing (that's the one I'd really love) is a little eccentric, a true enthusiast. Someone with a 1/6th scale Maus has issues. Unless you put it to practical use, of course, like driving it down to the supermarket to get the groceries.
