Drybrushing colors

I am working on a Brit M3 Grant in desert yellow/Brown camo & wondered what colors would be godd to drybrush this for "desert wear" Thanks!

buff, sand, desert yellow, any shade of color lighter than the ground material you are using for a base. A color a little lighter than sand. Edges might get a lighter (much) dry brush of the base coat of paint of the vehicle to show fading or wear. I usually add a pastel dry brushing around corners, on edges, acorss protrusions etc. Just for added effect.

You might want to try some overspray on the upper surfaces to reflect sun fading.

Testors radome tan (enamel) works real well. I've used it on a Merkava II, and a Desert Storm M-60 with positive results, as well as on WWII German Africa armor.

You can also use the same colors as your base, with white mixed in. It really helps to duplicate paint "fading"

Add a tad more white to those colors and go over all of the high points and edges also.
