The Panzer IV Ausf. H did have zimmerit applied in some cases. The traditional rigid pattern was used. As for the side armor skirts, I have seen reference pics with zimmerit applied on the front side skirts, but I am sure it was applied on the others as well. Zimmerit on the side skirts was mostly done in the field, so it is very posible that it was put on all of em in some cases.
