M551 Sheridan kit

Nope, Dragon has never offered a Sheridan. You may be thinking of the old resin version by Jaguar. It was a offered in a ODS version. Academy is supposed to release an ODS version of their new one. It is not super, but is light years ahead of the old Tamiya one and can be built into a nice Sheridan.

If you are using the Academy/MiniCraft version, I believe it is a copy of the old Tamiya one, not the New Academy kit. It needs lots of help to make it nice. Can be done though. Here is what I did with the Tamiya one.

AEF Designs offers an ODS upgrade set. You are gambling with AEF though. I haven't used the ODS M551 set, but their other products are mediocre at best.

For a while on PMMS, Legends had a correction set for the Academy kit but that has disappeared from the site. Not sure if they shelved the idea or it is taking longer than expected. One of the nice things is the incorrect turret shape is partially hidden once you add the basket and cover the turret with lots of stowage. Not much you can do short of major surgery to fix that and the hull slope, though
