Korean War Truck Help
Posted by lizardqing on Saturday, July 26, 2003 12:48 AM
Just wondering if anyone would know what type of transport truck might have been used in Korea. My grandfather drove one while he was there and somehow recieved 2 bronze stars and I would like to build one to go with the car he drove for NASCAR I built a few years ago. Any info would be appreciated since the only pics I have he is on a military bulldozer and with large guns.

I think they were still using the Studebaker 2 1/2 ton in Korea. Iansadler is right though, almost any WWII truck probably saw some action there.

Appreciate the info, now I'll just have to try and find one with the limited rescources in my area. One more question though, are there any kits readily available of the dozers that were used in that time frame, I have a pic of that so I would have an idea of what to look for at least.

Just posted this the other day for someone who was looking for a W.W.II Dozer. Not really too sure if it's the same or not but if you have pics you'll be able to tell. It's by a company called Resicast and is sold through R&J in the U.S.
