Cool! Are those in 1/35th?

I suppose you scratch-built them? Great work. I took a peek at your website and you got some great stuff in there. Looks like youre particularly fond of shooting aircraft down, especially with a rotary-barrel weapon.

Good one Allan. You are right, both are scratchbuild. Even more so is the CIWS. There is no model in that scale available. The M167 is 1/35. The CIWS is about 1/20. I just love any armor that has surface-to-air capability. I also love radars and antennae vehicles. Got more project line up. So watch out. :)

I usaually check FAS.org beofre venturing out onto the net. I use google and just type in military vehicles and just search for any not-seen-too-often types vehicles. There are lots of vehicles out there, that are seldom seen. When I find a vehicle interesting to to model, I just type in the name of the vehicle to find more info on them. Mind you most of the models are slightly modified than the original to give it that special look or usage in that type of situation..

"i think you should post them on the aircraft section to see there reaction "

Is there any reason why? I'm just curious.

Excellent looking body of work Tiking. You've built some very interesting pieces there. Thank you for sharing with us.

Oh yeah, you have to put those pics up and tell Butz that you found the answer to his ME262. They've been wisecracking about the tread heads getting jealous, for the past couple of days.Evil [}:)]Wink [;)]

Very nice work. I can't wait to see more. Like your website BTW.

Thanks a million for the kind words guys. Really appreciate it. I'm in the process(in between my other projects) of working on a LHD diorama for a helicopter/harrier dio. See what you guys think of it so far. It's still in it's first stage: The scale is 1/72

Hey Tiking,
I checked out your in-progress dio and so far it looks great even if it is not done!! So what mfgs are you gonna use for your Harrier and helo??.
Up till now, how long did it take you?? How long do you feel it will take you to complete this dio??
Flaps up, Mike
Cant wait to see it when it is finished my friend.

Oh yeah Mike, I forgot. You built that wonderful model of a fence. The jeep was in the way though and hid alot of the detail. You should plan out your dios a little better.........(notice I jumped into the bunker before Butz starts the airstrike.)

Tiking, the fact that you scratchbuilt it makes it even more impressive, especially out of some handy stuff. Thats ingenuity and a credit to the hobby. The LHD dio looks like it is quite the project. Please keep us posted.

All these nice response from you guys. Thanks a bunch.
Butz, "So what mfgs are you gonna use for your Harrier and helo??"

Don't know what you mean by mfgs. Sorry for my ignorance.

"Up till now, how long did it take you?? "

I built a the section you see in one day. That was two months ago. I hadn't continue because I was busy with something else.

"How long do you feel it will take you to complete this dio??"

If I continue working on it constantly then then the LHD base will take me a week. Then, I'll have to build the Seastallion and harrier seperately. That will take another 2 weeks, probably 3 if I'm busy.

If anybody's interested in easy way to make Pine trees, then see my article under tips on my site.
