                        Hey M1 fans, I see in this month's hobby 'zines here that Dragon (via Hasegawa in Japan) is releasing an M1A1 HA "Baghdad 2003" kit, featuring the newer smoke dischargers, CIPS panels, anti-missile thingy (that always made me think I was looking at an M1A2!), extra turret bustle basket, and other Baghdad M1A1 HA goodies. Release is set for August (pretty vague!) and the price here is 3,600 yen (about 30 bux, US).

                        You can also see it on Hasegawa's website in the "Shanghai Dragon" section.

                        Looks cool to me! What do you M1 experts out there think?

                        Yeah, it says it's a Marine vehicle in the ads I saw.
                        According to Hasegawa's site, I believe it's their old M1A1 HA kit with new sprues featuring the Baghdad goodies and new decals.

                        I'ma gonna get one, oh yes!

                        Very nice, The Guard unit I'm in has M-1 IPs. Hell I'd kill for a late model M1A1.

                        Cobrahistorian, yes B co out of Troy NY. I'm a Platoon Sgt. But more to your intrest, I was with 1/142 AVN NYARNG we had cobra AH-1s mods and then F's. They sense gone to Blackhawks.

                        It's called the Missile Countermeasures Device or MCD. If it's hanging off a military vehicle it's gotta have an acronym ;)

                        I know a few guys in the 101st Cav. Been a while since I've been home to NY. Say hi to Sgt. Wulforst for me if you happen to know him. I wish the NY Guard was still flyin Cobras. I'm tryin to get a Guard Aviation slot right now and would love to be flying in NY and not in TX, but I want gunships... things are lookin good for Apaches right now. We'll see.
