Hi there
What can I use 2 weather my tiger. Hobby shops in South Africa r few and far between therefore it is hard to get any materials and I u do get them there is a huge hole in your wallet.

Is there any alternate ways of weathering kits.
Thanx a lot. Your help is much appreciated.

Keep well.Big Smile [:D]

I don't know anything about weathering kits but techniques, the kit comes from your standard hobby kit. You can try chipped paint, oil stains, rain/dust marks, etc. The link below is the best source I can priovide regarding armor weathering.

I've tryed my self the rain marks technique shown there and works great!

Hope this works and good luck!

two of the best techniques that I can give you are making a wash of highly diluted mixed brown and back paint. Run it in your wheel hubs and over the body of the tank. It will settle in the seams highlighting those areas. the other is to lighty dry brush the edges, hatch corners and handles with a silver or metal paint which shows areas where the paint is worn. both these techniques will go a long way to weathering. Of course the useof the powdered chaulks is great but they get kind of expensive
