Sorry, having trouble getting the images to appear on this site so I just added the link.

I typed the address below with the [img] at either end and it didn't work .Any ideas?

To get it to work you need to put

without the spaces after the g's in img.

Ok nm i tried it and it did not work either....lol

Nice bit of work Colin. Nice balance to the whole scene and good workmanship on the Marder itself.

If I had one criticism, it would be that the uniforms and the shells appear a little on the shiney side. But this could be just the lighting that you are using or the flash.

Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing.

I agree with Shermanfreak on the shiny stuff.

It looks like you did a great job!! The overspray that you used to create the dust and dirt looks nice, especially on the rear of the tank. You MAY want to overspray with a second sandy type ofcolor to blend it some and make it look even more convincing.

Oh, one more thing :)

It looks like you brushed a little silver to make it look like scratched paint? It looks good but try the salt technique that was in July's magazine, or browse the forums for the discussions a few of us had great luck with it. The salt technique for paint chipping is going to be the only way I do it now :)

I like it..! A bit of drybrushing with a lighter shade of grey would bring out the details, Colin.

Colin, looks great,
My only comment would be when you prep your ground work, try and make some impressions for your tracks to sit in to give the vehicle the appearance of some weight. You can do this by lightly pressing the vehicle into the ground material while its still wet. Armored vehicles are heavy and unless they are on pavement or concrete, they will sink a little. At least as far down as the traction features on the track shoes.

I like the mud on the tracks. What did you use?

Thanks for all the comments guys. Renarts, I used some of the plaster that made up the ground work, when this was dry I brushed on some mig pigment colours.
I have to say thank you to rongeorge for hosting the images and to Shermanfreak for correcting the link.
