The Thing (to come...)

Here are two pics from yet another project, the Ontos. Scale is 1/76. The base kit is a resin/metal kit from Scale Model Accessories (which I built the pattern for). I hollowed out the hull and added a few bits... The second pic also shows the engine.

Mmmm... Looks like you gonna need to go to Ron's site to see those pics, after all! Sorry!

Looks great. Wish I had the eyesight to do that much braille scale detailing! Cool [8D]

I couldn't help but notice that double decker bus you are working on, too. Is that going to have a full interior, and any idea when it will be available?

That is just so cool, DJ! Great details you added there. Cant wait till the cookie is baked. You said you built the master for that? Great work, my friend.

Here you go Domi

Once again excellent work ... especially considering the scale. I'm afraid my thumbs would get in the way working with detail like that.

Happy Modelling and God Bless Robert

jeeze, excellant work there. What are you using, a10x magnifier? I wouldn't even to be able to come close to what you did.
I remember hearing many moons ago that someone was going to do a 1/35th Ontos. I have been waiting patiently.

Can't wait to see your finished piece.

Thanks Shermanfreak for the help with the pics, and thanks everyone for your nice comments. Hopefully, I'll have that completed soon. I have now painted the inside and closed the hull again, and of course, there's not much to be seen after all, but I know it's there! I'm havng problems with the tracks, tat came out in a very imperfect metal... I might have to 'camouflage' that with mud 'cause after having done the pattern once, I'm not ready to re-build them yet again!
