does anyone make a conversion kit to turn russian t34's into chinese type 63 tank with anti-aircraft turret?

i saw it in my book on artillary it was said to be a dog of a vehicle but china built many because they had a surplus of t34's so all it cost them was the price of a turret  they also sent many to n vietnam ( wonder whyEvil [}:)])

but they used it themselves till the mid 80's

Wow, interestig looking vehicle. Just googled it to see what it looks like. If you had managed to get enough references, the shapes look pretty simple, at least simple enough for a scratchbuild.

it looks similar to the russian ZSU 57-2 if you could find the AAA system you could use that as a start on the turret

these sights may be handy in finding the AAA systems I hope this might helpWink [;)]

Wow, it's been ages since I've posted on FSM, but I figured I'd comment on this thread (despite it being six years old...)

I'm looking for a Type 63 conversion as well (or at least a twin Russian 37mm mount in 35th) .  The vehicle pictured above that was sitting at Aberdeen is now in my collection at the Army Air Defense Artillery Museum at Ft. Sill.  The vehicle is a beast.  Very rudimentary.   Jagged welds all over it, unfinished doors just cut into the turret, it'd be a nightmare to serve on!

Anyhow, just wondering if anyone had any idea if there was a conversion out there...

Thanks!

Jon
