Another 1/76 kit originaly designed for Scale Model Accessories. I built this test shot model but 'opened up' as much as I could to make it look more interesting. The engine bay and the hood had to be hollowed out, the engine and front suspension/axle built from scratch. I opened up the fabric roof, and re-built both side doors, plus the seats and other details inside.

The Simca 5 was a licence built Fiat 500 Topolino, built for the French army and for civilian use before WWII. Plenty got requesitioned in '39, then re-used by the Germans after May '40. NSU of Germany also produced this vehicle.
