I hear you frostygirl! Accuracy only matters if it's going in a museum in my book. Be as accurate as you want to be and have fun doing it! Cool [8D]

Much better Abrams ... now just one more little thing. Find a solid background to place the model against, it makes it easier to critique a kit if the background doesn't have a lot of colours in it. Try something blue maybe or even gray if you have something available. Take a couple of pics that way and then add in your coloured background.

Thanks as always for sharing.

Looks ok from here Abrams. Is there a way that you can take the pics a little closer or does it just distort the pics too much. The subject matter (being Braille Scale) needs to be a little more prominent in the picture. From here is looks like you've done a good job on the weathering. And an interesting choice of kits to blend into one.

when I first started making this, I painted before I assembled. so I just gave it another coat of paint, and it doesn't have anymore shine.

Hi, M1.
I'd also recommend finishing with some sort of clear flat to kill all the shiny spots and tie everything in together.
Looking forward to seeing it!

That's the spirit, M1! Anything is possible!
Whether that vehicle existed or not, it's a pretty good idea! Could have filled a void or two till the boys in the field got some M8s or something.
Looking forward to seeing the finished product.

kitbash pictures: finished!

well, I started to finish this m4 halftrack and thought hmmmmmm........ kinda boring. I have my test vehicle. (m3 grant that was very poorly put together, that I used to test my airbrush out) so I took the 37mm turret off, and with some scratchbuilding... voila! (note: this is my first attempt at kitbash. also don't worry, it has final painting and weathering to do: see further down for completed pics) both models were hasegawa 1/72
