paint it steel, then drybrush a ton o rust on there also do the carbon thing that wipw suggested.

I painted my pz II the tank color, then hit it with about 5 to 10 coats of rustall. Then went back over it with rust colored chalk dust. Finally, I used powered charcoal to blacken the end of the exhust pipe. Take a look at what Moskit has to offer. If they match your kits, they are fantastic!

i have several kits like the panzer III and IV and the stug III, and they have a realy crappy looking muffler with molded on straps. and when i painted them the tanks main color they looked bad, so i painted them a rusty color, and they still looked bad. anyone know a good method to make them look good?Sleepy [|)]
