The tank crew is still sold separately (#3020) for about $5± and the M1A1-HA w/crew is the same exact kit as the M1A1 w/Mine Plow (#3516), except of course it includes the optional mine plow and no figures. I won my M1A1 on Ebay for $9.99+$6.50s/h just about a week ago (Jul 30).
I've got all Abrams tank kits in 1/35 (yes, even the old Esci kits but not the new M1A2 in the Revell of Germany box-not available stateside yet).
So unless you just have to collect that boxing of the DML kit, kits #3020 & #3516 can be had for about $20-25 and gives you the crew, rudimentary interior, and mine plow. Decals will differ though.
