Here is what is on the Tiger so far:
Black artist's oil wash, Burnt Umber oil wash, Panzer Grey lightened with a small bit of white and then dry brushed over the raised panels and details.
I then dry-brushed Rust on the bolts, some panels, rear and the shell hits. This was followed by applying "Artistic Blending Chalks" Black first for smoke, grease and grime then dark and light brown for a bit of mud and dirt build-up. (This was inspired by Shermanfreak and I'm glad I used it!)
Shot the entire model with Testor's DullCote.
As for the tracks, they are Tamiya box-stock. I first sprayed Gunmetal, then dry-brushed with Steel and Dull-Coted them. I then added the same colors of chalks from above. I noticed that, if you Dull-Cote over the lighter color chalks, they tend to disappear.
Almost forgot, I used Charcoal pencils to simulate the blast effect on the end of the barrel. (This was another tip from Sherm
)
