It's a good kit and build up well. $24.00 is a good price as they sometimes go higher on Ebay. The only resin parts I know of for this kit is a crew offered by Kirin. However, they are OOP and I haven't seen them anywhere for sale lately. Ebay is probably the best place to look for them. BTW, Eduard offers an interior and exterior p/e detailing set.

I did one myself, It sure did take some time away, but overall I was very happy with the kit.

It's a pretty decent kit considering there weren't any Scuds around to measure when they made the kit. Today we can complain about the accuracy problems because we have a few of them in museums to examine. Personally I think it looks great. The cabin interiors are my only complaint.

Others have mentioned the eduard photoetch sets. Be warned- there are 4 detail sets out there from Eduard! There are 2 old sets, one for the interior and one for the exterior. They're recently released updated and improved versions of the same two sets. The old ones were just a guess. The new sets look great!

I'd say grab the kit and give it a try. It looks like a Scud to me!

I have the DML Scud if anyone is interested. Still in the box, but the shrinkwrap is gone. Not started, and no parts missing to my knowledge. I honestly have no interest or intent of ever building it, so if someone would like it , please let me know....
