Posted by treadwell on Saturday, June 3, 2006 8:44 PM

hey guysBig Smile [:D]-- been a while since i last posted pics--i finally have made it from the engine compartment to the front of the tank(lol)- these shots are of the steering levers, brake system, clutch pedal, throttle, throttle lock, and gear shift mechanism and thier associated control rods-- the square frame is the driver's seat frame--the green return springs are .025 wire and the red return springs are .010 wire -- looks simple but took me about 2 weeks and 3 rebuilds to figure it out to where it is now-- any and all comments --pro or con greatly appreciated-- thanks for taking time to look ---treadwellCool [8D]Tongue [:P]

Is that scratchbuilt?

Either way it's impressive

Let's rattle the cage, crack the machine. Let 'em know who you are, shine to be seen.

OK so If I were to supply all the needed materials. ( engine, plate steel, cables. wheels, track links, transmission, ect...) I feel confidant that you could build a full scale (insert tank name here). It might take you a while but.....you could do it. Plus you would be the only one on your block to have one. OK but seriously this is just wonderfull. I am impressed. Again my little 1/35 tiger seems like a warm up act at a concert. So anyway great job keep up the good work, hope to see more pics soon.Dinner [dinner]

P.S. Ohh I do think that left hand control cable is about .236 mm to long. But that could just be me.My 2 cents [2c]

Absolutely Super!
and uh,
......... I must have missed the
engine stuff.
When were the pistons, rod bearings, camshaft
and valve springs shown?

thanks for the nice comments guys, today i built the 'rotary base junction'-- this unit supplies voltage for the turret as it rotates thru  piping (not yet shown) and contact brushes-- kind of like a tiny slot car track-- hard to explain-- anyway, thanks for lookin at my pics-- treadwellTongue [:P]
