I also concur with Frosty girl.

I don't want to blow smoke up anybody's butt , but there are a lot of generous and patient people associated with this forum. ( alot more patient than I would be at certain times) She has named a few more and I think there's alot more.

Attack donut started it, I just jumped in.

i have to concur... for those of us who model the modern scene, Major G. is akin to a national treasure and the next best thing to "being there". thanx for ur replies to us, because i'm sure there are many models that turned out better thanx to info u
provided.
BTW, Major: thanx for the reply re: my helo question also (see what i mean ? the guy just rules!!!)Cool [8D]

(but lets not forget shermanfreak, moses, renarts, djmodels and all the rest of the fantastic modelers who make this site so helpful and informative; thanks for getting me hooked on armor modeling!)

Thanks, got the kit in the mail today.

Not a grunt, that's an infantryman. I'm a DAT, dumb-@ss tanker.
Spent a little while in Doha, that's only a brigade+ worth of armor there. Take a ride down motor pool road at Fort Hood, two heavy divisions worth of US steel baking under the Texas sun is an impressive sight. (of course some of it is in use under an Iraqi sun at the moment).

Yeah Maj. Rob seems pretty cool.... for a grunt er, for an Army guy! Big Smile [:D] Tongue [:P] Wink [;)] Just kidding Rob, I'll be the first one begging you for info when I get ready to build my M-1 and other modern stuff Big Smile [:D] . I "got" to spend 4 months on camp Doha last summer and couldn't take a single picture because of security concerns Angry [:(!] I'd never seen that much armor in one spot before!

I agree. If ever you need a question answered regarding the M1 and its variants, he's your man. Cool [8D]

He even spelled my name right!

He's a real mate, a bloke, a chap, a good gov'ner.

(To keep the topic on hand: He bought my DML t-80 from me, just wanted to let people know he's okay)
