Sherm,

Sorry, I am not sure if you sent me any email. A couple of days ago two of the computers in our network got hit by a virus (blaster) and to protect ourselves we set the security feature of our e-mail to recieve only emails from the those listed in our contacts' list. This feature automatically erases any email from other sources. I just remembered to reset this feature so I don't know if your email has been erased or not.

Thanks for the tip, Rich. Actually, I think its the basic M4A3 hull/chassis but sporting a 105mm howitzer. I am more interested in there operational history as I am planning to make a dio for it.

Please forgive my ignorance if it shows. Is a M4A3 105 much different than a M4A3 ? If not, FineScale did a couple of articles on them that you might want to reference:

Apr 1985 - Modeling the Jumbo Assault Sherman M4A3E2
Jan 1998 - Sherman Tank Armor
Dec 2000 - Lots of Shermans done by Ruiz

They did some kit reviews:

Dec 1988, Page 15

Besides these there were some Reader Gallery submissions that you might be interested in:

Send me an e-mail Dwight and I'll send some pics your way. You may also do a search for the M4 105 on the net, the turret features were the same and may help with your build.

No, I am not through with the M1A1-HA.

But I have this Tamiya M4A3 105 which I had before the M1. I was about to work on it when I suddenly had the itch to do the M1 first.

By the way, I took a peek at it last night and everything seems to be "Tamiya GOOD". However, I don't have much info on this type at the moment. So, please if anybody knows links on info on this baby pass it to me.

Will be looking forward to your help, guys. Cool [8D]
