I ordered these pack howitzers from Jadar hobby in Poland.  I received products within 10 business days without any problems.

Thanks guys.

Don't know about any US suppliers, but here is S-Model's website where you can order them directly.

Very nice! I`d like one of those for my slowly progressing armor collection.

I`ve looked around on the internet and haven`t found one- are they availible from any U.S. sellers that you know of?

Thanks.  Yup, the packers didn't do too good a job packing them up, resulting in quite a bit of damage.  Luckily, only a couple of older builds were total losses and ended up being scrapped out for parts.  The rest were easily fixable.

The pix are real dark on my monitor, but what I can see looks great, Gino. Ballast or not, I like the guy sitting on the trails!

Say, did you experience a lot of damage to your models in the move? I just moved halfway across Japan last month and luckily suffered no damage whatsoever!

Wow!  Pretty cool build.  Good choice of figure.  The subtile variations in the paint and the weathering are very well done.
No matter where you go ....... there you are.

Nice work on the pack gun Gino and a Thumbs Up [tup] for most innovative use of a figure. Smile [:)]

Thanks guys, it was a fun, quick build.  The tires/wheels are one piece resin.  They do have a deep groove where the tire meets the wheel, but they look pretty close to the real deal.

Looks like a fun quick build Gino! I am curious about the wheels and the rims... looks like the tires aren't sitting on them right, I'm referring to the second last pic.

M8 75mm Pack Howitzer (pics)

I finally finished repairing the damage to my models from my recent move.  I picked a quick little kit to do as the first build here in AL.  I recently had a fellow modeler (thanks Charles) send me a resin S-Model M8 75mm Pack Howitzer model from Poland.  It is a simple kit with only 23 pieces in crisp cream resin.  The pieces were easy to clean up and are cast well.  Assembly was simple and there were no problems.   It assembles and is able to be broken down just like a real Pack 75, so the dio possibilities are endless with it.  I believe that it is a resin copy of the old Tamiya metal M8 kit.  Either way, it was a nice little build and looks good.  Here are a few pics of it.

(The figure was not part of the kit, but is needed to weigh down the trails.  Without him, it takes a nose dive due to the weight of the barrel assembly.)
