Yep Rob, Chris Mrosko..who was involved in the production of that kit for VLS has completed it and it is on www.modelmaker.com. Mrosko did a fantastic job on it.

Hey Mitch,

Glad you finally got your hands on one of these Dozers.

One of the guys on World War II Modelmaker has some pics of this kit (I think) up on the home page. Not sure if he has a build article on it or not but maybe you can contact him about any possible pitfalls. Here's their link.

I look forward to hearing about your build with this kit, no matter how much inthe future that may be.
Happy Modelling and God Bless Robert

I received my Dozer kit today from VLS side-show the 135th Construction Battalion and its a nice kit. Did I say nice? Its very nice!

Its a M1 Dozer (D-7?) with the un-armored cab.
There are a total of 118 finely cast resin pieces that make up the kit of which 28 are the tracks..

I cant compare it to any other dozer kit as I have never seen any other dozer kit., but I would guess its as good or better than any other previously available kit of this rare modeling subject. Also on the plus side its new and should be around for some time and easy to get.

The kit retails for $99.95 and I joined a VLS buyers club for $19.95 which gives me an 18% discount on my purchases, so the kit only cost me $81.96 and with the other products I've bought I more than made up for the buyers club cost.

Cant say when I'll actually build the kit and its a fair bet to say someone else out in model land will have an on-line build for us to read before I even think of building mine. But I have one !

If you need, want, desire, cant live without, yadda, yadda, yadda then go get yours today. I dont think youll be disapointed.Big Smile [:D]
