Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, August 28, 2003 6:41 PM
Hi guys,
Does anyone know if anyone makes the T-90 model, or at least the T-80 model? If so can you tell me were I can find them?
Thanks.Smile [:)]

DML makes (or made) a T80. I understand it has some problems, but is about the only thing out there. I think there was a thread around here someplace that asked about the T80. Major Rob was instrumental in that one because he had all the poop on it. You might want to try a search.

T-90 is an upgraded T-72 with a new name. T-80 is a different animal from a T-72/90. Kirin makes a T-90 conversion/turret for the DML T-72 kit. My local shop carries(carried?) it for about $40.

T-80 is made by Lindberg (avoid), DML (OK), Skif (best of the three) in 1/35.

Terre Models makes 2 resin conversions for the DML/Tamiya T-72's. They are a T-90 (which I believe is actually a T-72BM) and a T-90s which is a T-90. I have seen both for sale at www.missionmodels.com
