Gasoline from France does a 1/48th scale resin kit which is supposed to be reasonably good. Maquette does two in 1/35th scale (I think their's are an Ausf G and one supposed to cover Ausf s A-D) as well as a flakpanzer and Aufklarang version.
A friend has one of the Macquette ones, unbuilt, and I've had a look inside. It doesn't appear too bad a base to start from, but the running gear, suspension, and machine gun absolutely must be replaced. My friend ordered two of the Tamiya Wheel sprues and the Main gun sprue for the Marder 3M, from www.rainbowten.co.jp, to take the easy way out here.
I have built the Italeri one. It is an old moulding and suffers from age as well as the same running gear suspension problems. It is also not very accurate in a lot of places, particularly the turret cupola which is manufactured symetrical in the kit, which the real one was not!
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Tamiya will use the mouldings they have for the Marder and then release the 38(t) using that .(Sorry you guys wanting less German kits. I do agree with you, and want to see a lot more allied kits like the Sexton, Archer, Comet, etc, etc ,etc, but I really would like a decent version of the 38(t), it being such a fundemental basis to much of the German equipment. After all it isn't another German vehicle kit, it wasn't a German design after all!)
