hey miller41 that looks pretty cool!Cool [8D]
i bought that kit recently, so can you tell me did everything go to plan with the build etc etc?
you're making the ss viking version if i remember the numbers and camo correctly, right? the paint scheme on the box looks hard to replicate, did you hand brush the camo lines on?
anything else i should watch out for?
project looks great tho...hope mine looks half as cool!Cool [8D]Cool [8D]Cool [8D]
take care,#nick
Kind regards, Nicholas

Nice looking build Miller41 !!!!! Good crisp lines throughout from what I see.

Roll her in some mud and she'll look fantastic.

Thanks for sharing
Happy Modelling and God Bless Robert

nmayhew, I decided to hand paint the camo this time. I have the Squadron Signal Halftrack book as my main reference and alot of the HTs in that book are hand painted by the crews, which looks, well "hand painted" so I decided to try it. You can get a much cleaner look with a good airbrush, I was just trying something new. My biggest problem was making straps to tie down the stuff hanging outside the vehicle, used aluminum foil for that (first time) and it was ok. Am working on the infantry that came with the kit, and also dirtying up the vehicle.

Any good ideas on dirtying this baby up I will try:-) It's a vehicle on the eastern front that has seen limited action, so it is dirty but not super dirty, and its summer dirt.

Sorry I missed this earlier Miller...It looks great!! Do some washes and drybrushing to weather it and dirty it up and it will look great when you're done!!
