1/35th Ontos
Posted by glweeks on Thursday, September 4, 2003 3:11 PM
Question [?]Does anybody know of 1/35th scale Ontos models out there?? I heard of a Spanish company selling a resin one for about three hundred bucks, but that's to steep for me. Squadron sells one in 1/76 I think, but I'd like to get one in 1/35. Having ridden in one I think I could do it justice.Tongue [:P]

There use to be a Revell kit long ago, way long ago. Ebay is your only hope.
The Ontos would be a nice subject for a come-back.

David O. on Hyperscale tank talk is selling a built Renwal one for $12. Revell reissued the Renwal kit in 1982. I have both of them, typical kit of 1960s vintage. It is 1/32 scale.

Hobby Fan has a 1/35 Ontos. Great Models Webstore has them for $82.00. I also see them occasionally on Ebay

I have the Renwal 1/35 Ontos. Doesn't look like I'm going to get around to building it anytime soon. So...if anyone would like the kit for a fair price...I'm open for suggestions.
