Tena's latest project
Posted by djmodels1999 on Sunday, September 7, 2003 4:54 PM
Tena is my step-daughter, she's 13. And she has an attitude Evil [}:)] !!! But when she does cool down, she also like sharing the model bench with her old-fart Dead [xx(] of a step-daddy...

Here's her latest project: MMS' 1/76 M10, with crew. The white metal kit is quite superb. The primer has just been sprayed on. While this s drying, Tena is working on the little house (Exokit, resin) that will complete her latest diorama. She's hoping to get it completed for the IPMS Belgium Nationals early next month... It's nice to see young people still getting into this hobby, especially when they are young women! So few women share our enjoyment of this hobby! Way to go tenna! Nice work! You are braver than I am, I like to stick with plastic.

Looks nice, she's definately got more patience than I, the 1/35 jeep I just got done with is about as small as I want to go.

The force is strong in this one.
Looks great. Make sure she posts the finished pics. And best of luck to her at the Nationals.

frosty,
As a married person, I do have to live through the same stuff you do. Somehow, I think it gets amplified a bit when coming out of my wife's mouth, though.

Great work Tena! I wasn't aware of 1/72 metal kits. Pretty cool!

What can I say, you gotta love a gal who likes tanks! My daughter (and wife) is the same way.... a little tanker. Chip off the ol' (breech) block!

Nice Job Tena!
