I've used a few of them Colin....I really like them and they are very easy to install. They are great when you are dealing with a barrel that comes in two pieces...this way you don't have to worry about removing the seams. But like crossracer says..it depends on the individual kit........look at what you have and then make the decision to replace or not

It depends a lot on the manafacturer of the plastic gun barrel whether or not it makes sense to replace. A good example is the old Tamiya panzer II. THis is hte kit with the motorizaton holes. It is a definate improvement to replace the gun barrel. However the new Tamiya Wespe and JS.3 were built strait out of the box with no need to replace hte barrels. Basicily let your eye be the guide. Is there realy much difference in the gun barrels that come with the kit and the aftermarket ones like jordi rubio?They can be quite expensive and I was wondering is it hard to install them and is it worth my while.Question [?]
