I would put one joint together first, creating one track for each side.  Then the second joint with the track on the tank.  Glue, stitch, or staple them at the bottom, then turn the track till the joints are less likely to be seen.

On second thought, Arty's suggestion may be hard to achieve. If the two tracks are joined together into one piece (circle, one side) and it is tight, how can you put it into place? And if you put them into place first, how can you join them into one piece? (Instant glue doesn't work for certain types of vinyl, you may have to stitch or staple them together). The paradox is here.

Rob is right. It's two vinyl tracks that per side. Now I have an idea how to deal with them and I'll let AI know. Thanks Arty!

I have never had to deal with tracks like that.  If so, it is the same process as I outlined above, you only have two connection points on each track.  Try to hide one under a roadwheel so it isn't easily seen.

Some kits, normally those with Zvezda roots or Zvezda reboxes (like reboxed Dragon) get treated to a pair of vinyl tracks that make up one side. Very cumbersome to deal with.

Not sure what you mean by 1-2 piece vinyl tracks.  If they are one long piece of vinyl that you connect to make a continuous track, then I connect them with superglue where they come together.  If they are too long, cut a link or two off and reconnect with either superglue, staple the ends together, or sew them together with a needle and thread.  You can then hide the connection point underneath the skirts at the top so it can't be seen.

Thanks for your comments. Arty, do you have any suggestions on how to handle 1-2 piece vinyl tracks like the one Mini Hobby provide? I'd like the tracks to look like the tank in the second pic (link & length tracks).

zokissima, I made a mistake. I meant to name the picture "m33-085.jpg" but then I typed "m32-085.jpg" which is another story. They're not totally different though because both are T-72s. The old one is T-72A from Zvezda and this new one is T-72B w/ Kontakt ERA from Mini Hobby. ;-) (How come Arty didn't notice that?)

This is the real "m33-085.jpg" picture I meant to show :

Not too bad.  The tracks look too loose, like they are falling off though.
